OUR PASTOR & FIRST LADY

 

  Pastor and Sis. James have been married since 1988. They have three daughters and one son known by alias ""Big Al".   Pastor James was called into the ministry at the age of thirteen.  Finally after trying to live life his own way he gave in to God's calling on his life and excepted his work in the ministry.

 

  Under the guidance of the Late Bishop Dr. Herman H.Hubbard, the founder of the Community Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor James began training for a life's work as a servant of God.   He also attended SBCC as  well as the California Instutite Of Theology and CHC.    

 In 1993, with his wife, Brenda, by his side, Pastor James  was licensed and ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He has served a an assistant pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, and young adult pastor over the years.

 

   Pastor and Sis. James spent several years overseeing a support ministry before joining St. John M.B.C. in Perris, Ca.

 

  In 2007 Pastor and Sis. James took a two year sabbatical to continue to study and seek God as to what direction God would have them to go.  This two year leave and study period lead them to Hemet, Ca. to help New Vision Ministries.  This eventually lead to the founding of  The New Horizon Church of Hemet, Ca.   Under God's guidance, Christ's leadership and the power of the Holy Ghost, Pastor and Sis. James are taking New Horizon Church to another level in God!

          New Horizon Church

   New Horizon Church of Hemet is a bible teaching, bible  believing non-denominational organization

 that believes the  gospel of Jesus Christ.  

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  We believe in the gift of tongues as the Holy Spirit gives  utterance.     We believe that salvation is obtained by confessing with you mouth that Jesus is Lord, and

believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. (Romans 10:9)    The bible also tells us to repent and be baptized  for the remission of our sins(Acts 2:38).  

We like  to involve the community in our outreach programs like picnics in the park, passing out tooth brushes & toothpaste, wipes, deodorant      Giving out clothes & blankets, etc.

 Everyone is welcome at New Horizon Church where

 the true word of God is preached.  The Holy Spirit is  truly in control and the love of God is always present!
